A Heart Of Worship

If I may remind us, worship is not a song that we sing but a lifestyle. Our songs of worship to God should flow from a heart of love, and the way we live on a daily basis is the real indicator of a life dedicated to God.
God reminded me recently that a heart of worship loves others unconditionally.
Jesus said in 1John3:14 that “We know we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers”.
We cannot profess to love a God we cannot see if we cannot love our brothers, whom we can see. IJhn4:19. Jesus gave us the greatest command in Matt 22:29-30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself”. One may say, my priority is to love God. God however has made it clear that both are interwoven. We show we love God as we love our fellow brothers. “Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1Jhn4:7.
A true follower and worshipper of God would strive and make it their obsession to demonstrate their knowledge of God through the way they love their fellow human being, especially those in the faith. This is true worship and a heart of worship is a heart that loves unconditionally

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails………..” I Cor13:1-8.
Love can also be demonstrated by laying our lives down for our brother, as Christ laid his down for us, and being a blessing with our material possessions to those in need.(1Jhn3:16-17).
This is true worship, and a heart of worship is a heart that loves unconditionally.
