Rejoice Through The Process

Deut8:2 “Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep His commands.
Your attitude in the wilderness is far more important than you getting out of it. Learning to priase God and rejoice in our Saviour is also a lesson to be learnt. At midnight, whilst in the prison, Paul and Silas sang praises to God and Bam! there prison doors were swung open.

If you are going through trouble right now or any kind of suffering, or have added responsibility in your life which seems overwhelming, I encourage you to remain stable and controlled in your attitude. Since you cannot change where you are or what you’re going through, you can choose how you respond. Choose to praise God instead of complaining! Choose to rejoice instead of bowing your head, Choose to still walk in love, choose to still go out and help others instead of becoming self engrossed. Why?  Because you know that God works all things together for your good. It is in this high places of challenges that you grow. Once your response is right and stable you are close to getting out of that situation.

Hab3:17-18 “Though the fig-tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Saviour.
In other words, though my situation has not changed and my breakthrough has not yet come, yet I will rejoice in the Lord. Why?
Verse19 says “The sovereign God is my strength, my personal bravery, my invisible army. He will make my feel like hinds feet and cause me to walk, not stand still in terror but walk, and make spiritual progress upon the high places of my trouble, suffering or responsibility.(amplified)

If you can manage to stay stable in your trial, you will begin to grow spiritually and make progress in your walk with the Lord. That is a great achievement; making spritual progress.

Beloved, what we are going through, whether hardship or discipline is momentary. Be encouraged by this scripture in Heb12:11 “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Praise God for the second part of that scripture. There is a harvest to look forward to. Let’s begin to rejoice. Again, I say, rejoice!
